New look, new ideas, top renovation trends!
Good design is close to the heart for us here at Renovate, both in terms of bringing you a quality magazine and also in terms of showcasing cunning and crafty renovation projects. So, we’ve given our magazine and global website a fresh new look, and when it comes to renovation trends around the globe – we’ve got them covered.
True to our new, global outlook we’re keeping our fingers on the pulse of international trends and inspiring renovations from around the world. We are searching out good design on all levels – from products and renovation features through to expert tips and building advice.
The case studies we’re featuring in this issue of Renovate are no exception. These homes and their makeovers show us how the owners worked with an existing structure and turned it into a functional home that is based on practical as well as pleasing design principles and forms.
As a stand-out example of ‘leading by design’, our Swedish case study combines industrial functional design with dark inky hues and jewel tones for full impact. It’s a clever twist on the classic Scandinavian style, and really a refurbishment example at its best, transforming an old working building into a house full of charisma and character.
Character is something that is central to many home renovations, with a focus on different lifestyles and interior design styles. Eclectic living is making a comeback and we’re looking at the different trends, textures and colours that bring this look to life.
Stay tuned - we have so much more to come for you. Advice and inspiration has never been better.
