Jo Wallace and Nathan Shaw lived in their villa for seven years before making the decision of improving the house to get rid of the coldness, dampness and darkness. Before Jo and Nathan even started renovating their Grey Lynn villa, built in 1919, the house literally fell apart as a whole side of it was missing.

Jo and Nathan contacted Refresh Renovations to manage the project after they found out they were expecting their son, Noah. Together with Refresh Renovations project manager, the Grey Lynn villa was transformed into a modern home.
