Napier, in little old New Zealand is known for celebrating Art Deco in all forms of exterior and interior home decoration. Style, typically featuring the likes of parapet walls, flat roofs, rounded corners or semicircular curved walls, windows and doors without external facing boards. 

This, like many of the town’s exquisitely restored Deco fades, comes to life every February when Napier hosts its renowned Art Deco Weekend. The celebration of Art deco architecture in Napier is more than meets the eye and for anyone making a trip around New Zealand
