A Tired Living Area Has the Pick-me-up It Needed

A previously dark and dated lounge and kitchen/dining is now unrecognisable after Refresh Renovations worked their magic. Renovation Consultant Mathew Hartigan fulfilled the Invercargill homeowners’ wish for a more modern environment by getting a team together to install clever window solutions, sleek cabinetry, and neutral fittings.

The two-storey 1960s brick house now has indoor/outdoor flow with the addition of sliding doors that lead to a simple yet spacious wooden deck. Although the interior is now adorned with the modern comforts we’ve all come to love, the deck is the only change to the exterior – ensuring a humble feel remains.
