Renovation Consultant Lawrie and Mandy Foster, from Refresh Renovations, helped this homeowner update their newly purchased 1980s home with a more fresh and functional interior design.

Overlooking Lake Hakanoa, the property has stunning surroundings, but the original design restricted the view. The owner wanted to take advantage of this scenery, and creating an open-plan layout was the ultimate way to achieve this ambition.

The kitchen, lounge, and dining room now share a spacious area filled with natural light that streams in through windows capturing the lake. The rest of the home has also been renewed with plush carpeting, luxury vinyl tiling, and fresh wall paint, creating a more comfortable home with a modern look.
