You have the option to mount the camera either above or below your screen, depending on your setup and preferences. TIP: You can cut the lightstrip to fit your TV, but make sure you cut the loose end of the Lightstrip that is NOT connected to the power cable. The lighting effects will automatically remap to the trimmed length.

However, mounting below the screen can be more discreet and may better fit some setups, though it might be more susceptible to obstructions from furniture or devices placed in front of the screen.

For instance, my cat tends to make herself comfortable sitting beneath the TV on the soundbar, so mounting the camera beneath the TV was not a suitable option for me beyond doing a test. Therefore, I opted to mount the camera above the screen, which provided an unobstructed view and optimal performance.

The scheduling feature has been great for automating my daily routines, like gradually dimming the lights in the morning so that when we walk into the living room, there is some ambient light on already. I travel quite a bit so this is a handy feature to create the illusion of someone being home while I am out.
