Seasons
REVIEWED Stephanie Matheson
Spectacular images capture each of the different blossoms, from golden kowhai and rocket pincushion through to blood lily and king protea. This book is a picture-perfect coffee table volume as much as it is a handy reference guide to the different species of plants we may select for our gardens.
The plants are grouped seasonally. Although this classification is not always clear-cut, it shows the different species when they are considered to be most beautiful. Sally spent several years capturing seasonal displays of flowers and plants at Auckland Botanic Gardens – enjoy the results in the form of this book!
