Carly writes a column each issue for Renovate. Carly has been a journalist for over 16 years, and may be a familiar face thanks to her work as a presenter on TV3's Target and her previous roles on 3News, Nightline and Sunrise. She currently files stories for 60 minutes.

She also works as a freelance radio host, and can often be found planning her next renovation project thanks to a self-confessed renovation addiction. It's a process she says she enjoys right from the early stages of finding the inspiration through to seeing the end result. But her least favourite part? "Definitely the dust and the cost."
