Let’s set the record straight. Duncan Stuart is actually handier than the Prime Minister when it comes wielding a hammer. Not by much. He is much more at ease in his main job in research, crunching numbers rather than fingers. As he’s found; whether the subject is butter or building products, the choices we make say fascinating things about who we are.

Duncan has a background in freelance journalism and loves story-telling. His favourite story; a school in Cambodia that he helped build 11 years ago. The plans were sketched roughly on a page of lined note-paper, and 12 weeks later the school was open. It serves 260 students. He has mostly lived in old villas, all of which tested his DIY skills.
