Thrilled with Paul Cree’s assistance with a previous renovation, this Melbourne homeowner sought his assistance again for another, more extensive project. This time around, the focus was on the kitchen, main bathroom, laundry, and powder room.

The main goals were to improve the overall functionality of each room, all the while creating a contemporary interior design – and the results are perfectly reflective of this ambition.  

A crisp, white colour palette paired with matte black fittings has transformed all rooms, establishing a cohesive design. Luxurious features, including Calcatta marble benchtops and a deep oval bathtub, make sophisticated additions. And to complete the project, beautiful hardwood and tiled flooring make all the difference to this home’s interiors.

This mid-century home renovation is a stunning example of creating character with colour. The homeowners knew they wanted a bespoke design for both their kitchen and laundry room – they just weren’t so sure of how to achieve it.

The renewed interiors take full advantage of the home’s beautiful concrete flooring, complementing it with neutral colour schemes. Overlooking Lake Hakanoa, the property has stunning surroundings, but the original design restricted the view. The owner wanted to take advantage of this scenery, and creating an open-plan layout was the ultimate way to achieve this ambition.

The kitchen, lounge, and dining room now share a spacious area filled with natural light that streams in through windows capturing the lake. This Refresh Renovations project involved creating a smart house with high-end finishes. Renovation Consultant Dave Georgetti took on the massive task of updating this Point Chevalier home’s interiors, including major upgrades to three bathrooms, the kitchen, lounge, and garage. 

Every element of this renovation has been carefully planned for ultimate comfort and functionality. Having previously worked with Wayne Gordon from Refresh Renovations, this Palmerston North homeowner knew who to call when it came time to renovate their kitchen. The main objectives of this project were to improve the room’s overall practicality and establish a sleek design.

Since the room’s existing layout was kept in the renovation, it’s clear to see how transformative the project was. Renewed with timber flooring, fresh wall paint, and all-black cabinetry, the kitchen has taken on a contemporary design with minimalist features. Though predominantly black, the kitchen feels anything but dark and dull. Instead, it’s become a highly functional space with a sophisticated style.

Renovation Partners Jason and Michelle Zielinksi pulled off a significant transformation with this Maylands townhouse renovation. The homeowner reached out for professional assistance with reconfiguring their property’s ground-level floor into an open-plan layout. 

Major structural changes were required to achieve this ambition and involved an intensive construction process with new steel beam installations.   

Once the structural work was completed, the renovation team updated the electrical wiring and repainted the interiors for a fresh look. The finished product is a spacious living area with fantastic views of the nearby Swan River – scenery the homeowner wanted to capture from all corners of the ground floor. Beachfront properties will always be in high demand, so any sort of renovation is a good investment. But these Plimmerton homeowners were looking to stay for decades to come; a decision led them to undertake a full house renovation and extension with the professional assistance of Renovation Consultant Nick Leko. 

The new extension houses an open-plan kitchen and dining area leading out to a new deck through triple-panel sliding doors. This extension creates not only more space for the family but also encourages indoor/outdoor living. Meanwhile, throughout the existing home, the layout has been upgraded for better flow, as have the interiors for enhanced comfort. The exteriors also received significant improvements, including a new driveway, repainting, and fencing.
